I’ve been working on so much stuff lately that I’m super psyched about. I’m finally launching my first digital product next month, DIY Meal Planning Kit, which is an extension of the offerings on my wellness site, Vegan Yoga Life. This idea has been in the works for literally YEARS so I’m beyond excited that I’m finally bringing it to fruition.
It’s been a lot of fun to put together all of the course materials – so much that I’m now offering assistance in this area. If you’re interested in creating a digital product, let’s chat about how I can help you with the branding, visual aesthetic and marketing.
Having recently moved to Austin, I’ve been networking locally by joining a book club and networking at local meet-ups put on by a group of awesome women call BossBabesATX. I’m collaborating with one of the cool entrepreneurs I met, founder of Austin Learnshop, to put on an intro to coding workshop next month at a local craft brewery. The aptly named Coding And Craft Beer workshop is geared specifically to creative entrepreneurs and aims to provide a basic understand of how a web page works + ways to use simple code to help with SEO and marketing for business. If you’re in the Austin area, we’d love for you to join us! You can get more info here!
Ok now on to my weekly faves…
- Instagram Hashtags to increase your likes – I loved this post with tons of Instagram hashtags curated by Sarah over at Venus Trapped In Mars. She even put them to the test by creating a brand new Insta account and seeing how many likes she received, even having no followers. Talk about thorough experiments. You can call her the Bill Nye of Instagram. Check it out>>
- A recent client of mine, Katie Dalebout, has launched her new book, Let It Out: A Journal Through Journaling (and it’s so awesome!). The fun doesn’t stop there though! She was a guest on my favorite podcast, Being Boss, chatting about how journaling can help you find your voice (great if you’re starting out as a blogger or need to write copy for your business website), help you clear your thoughts (so that you can make room for new things) and so much more. You need to listen to this and then go pick up a copy of her book>>.
- I’ve been stalking my favorite people on periscope and loving the content they’re putting out there and the cool convos they can have with their followers (or random people who end up becoming their followers). I so desperately want to join in on the fun but I’m nervous to actually press the “broadcast” button! So I’ve been searching for tips on how to get started and found this awesome list of tips to rock your 1st periscope. You will definitely be seeing me on there in the near future!
